Configuring IPP printing on your Windows Server

📘 Instructions

To set up IPP Printing on your Windows Server:

• Configure your Windows Server roles to support print services:

  • In the Server Manager, click Server Roles, then check Print and Documentation Services.

Note: In Windows Server 2008, you must also check the Printer Server role service.

• Install the IPP Printing Client:

  • In the Server Manager, click Features, then check IPP Printing Client.

• Reboot the server
