Features:
Improving the PrintAnywhere Configuration (PAS) User Interface.
new features for adding, editing, and removing email servers have been implemented.
The user can choose the formats based on what their business requires.
PrintAnywhere Processing Server, PrintAnywhere Agent, and PrintAnywhere Status were the three services that made up the PrintAnywhere server in the past.
They are now being implemented as a single component in a new service called PrintAnywhere server.
The latest version of PrintAnywhere Server has extra options and supports rendering without requiring the installation of third-party software.
Document rendering speed. In the past, each PAS server's print queue processed a document one at a time.
Multiple documents will now be rendered simultaneously. It won't be necessary to open documents in the third-party document applications.
Aspose will be used to render the documents, and that same application will be used to send them straight to PDS.An increase in the number of documents. We will be able to assist managing a high volume of documents when processing documents concurrently.
Document rendering's dependability. It might be necessary to add more servers, boost the processing power of the existing PAS servers, or restart the failed ones.
The new PrintAnywhere Server containers offer a more straightforward workflow by eliminating the need to rely on the Windows print queue and establish connections and communications with every other PAS server.
Since many documents are being rendered simultaneously, rendering of one document won't stop the rendering of the others.Configuration simplicity. There were numerous local configuration files on each server that would be updated while operating multiple PAS servers; this information is also kept up to current in the database.
The following file types will be supported by default without the need for configuration: .pdf,.jpg,.jpeg,.png,.gif,.bmp,.tif,.tiff,.doc,.docx,.ppt,.pptx,.xls,.xlsx,.html,.htm,.txt,.rtf,.pub,.odt,.odp,.ods,.xps, and.pub. All of these formats can render if they are installed and enabled.
Email print workflow was previously supported by SMTP/IMAP, Domino, and EWS; currently, email print workflow is offered by Gmail, Microsoft, and IMAP/SMTP.
Updated email authentication is now supported by PAS Port, which also offers more choices.
Bug Fixes:
Following the most recent patch, we can now see the Synchronization Setting popup when we click the setting button on PDS -> Secure release anywhere pool instead of being redirected to the homepage.
The functioning of JOB Approval has been rectified; before, unchecking the box from workflows did not disable the approval option from the results panel.
After being altered, removed, and saved, all functions are now shown with the relevant message.
